The Heino Winter Group is a maritime services company consisting of the shipping company Heino Winter and engineering office Heino Winter as a worldwide supplier of technical shipping equipment.

The shipping company “Winter” based in the ‘Altes Land’ fruit growing area has been operating for several generations. After World War 2, Heino’s father Jonny Winter laid the foundations for a modern coastal shipping company with the building of one of the first German container vessels MV ”Bell Venture” in the shipyard J.J. Sietas and heralded a new era for the shipping group.

Following in his fathers footsteps, Heino Winter spent time at sea having passed his final exam as a maritime engineer. With the increase in shipping business Heino came ashore and began to attend to his own fleet.
