The shipping company Heino Winter consists of seven ships operating around the world. They are assigned the part of a “feeder vessel” as standard container vessels on the one hand and then multi-purpose heavy cargo vessels on the other. The vessels are sized between 7.500 and 19.100 tdw.

The fleet gets continuously modernised and updated with purchases and resales as well as modified and new built vessels. While all new buildings ordered up until 1996 have been constructed in German shipyards, the latest naming ceremony for a new built vessel took place in Shanghai.

The shipping company consists of the financing, administration, nautical and technical departments.

The shipping company also offers the nautical and technical management to other shipping companies. The technical department employs three inspectors who are not only responsible for the companies own vessels but also look after the inspection of other ships as well as planning of time spent in shipyards,supervising the progress of new builds and surveyor duties.

Miss Mareike Winter is the head of the shipping companies commercial department.

The shipping company has set itself the target to meet a high quality standard. Certified in accordance to ISO 9001:2000 since 1998, further ongoing education is part of the companies philosophy to be prepared for all requirements of the market and the development in technical ship operation.
